Introduction
The purpose of this Publication Scheme is to demonstrate our commitment to the Freedom of Information Act by publishing information about the Museum. In order to achieve this, the Museum has adopted the Information Commissioner’s approved model Publication Scheme.
We are currently working to improve access to a wide range of information, but if what you are looking for is not available on the website, or you require it in another format, please contact us.
Copyright
Information that is created by the Museum and included in this Publication Scheme may only be reproduced for the purposes of research or private study. Authorisation to otherwise reproduce material must be obtained from the copyright holder concerned and fees may be charged. If you have any questions concerning this, please contact the Museum.
Appeal and complaints procedure
If you are not happy with the reply to your request or the way your request has been handled by the National Army Museum, you are entitled to follow the appeal and complaints procedure. First you should seek an internal review conducted by the Museum. Requests for internal reviews should be directed to the Assistant Director (Operations). If you are still unhappy with the Museum’s response, you may seek an independent review from the Information Commissioner.
Further information or comments
If you would like further details on the Museum Publication Scheme, access to information, or have any comments about the Scheme, please contact the Records Officer.
The Publication Scheme will be reviewed on an annual basis or when the need arises.
