Edward Thomas INSET Day

The National Army Museum is offering an INSET day, on 27 September 2011 (10.00am - 4.00pm), focusing upon Edward Thomas, one of the new set poets in the OCR GCE English Literature syllabus.

The day, endorsed by the OCR, includes talks on:

• 'Edward Thomas'
  Andrew Motion, former Poet Laureate, Professor of Creative Writing at Royal Holloway College, University of London
• 'Great War Poetry: Edward Thomas in Context'
  Dr George Simmers
• Great War historical background and object handling

Price: £45 per delegate. Lunch, tea and coffee included.
