Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II joins Queen Victoria as only the second British monarch to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee. Celebrating 60 years of The Queen's reign, this display explores different aspects of the relationship between The Sovereign and her Army.

A hands-on interactive exhibition for all the family, this compelling story will be brought to life using exclusive material from Michael Morpurgo, author of the hugely popular 'War Horse' novel, and the acclaimed stage production by the National Theatre.

In 1945 Britain celebrated the end of the Second World War. However, this victory did not mean an end to Britain’s military commitments abroad. The nation faced new challenges in a rapidly changing world and to meet these the young men of Britain were called up.
Now Open - Level 4 Corridor
Marking the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, this display examines the role of the British Army during the first and only United Nations (UN) war to date.
