As soon as you have booked your party, the relevant documentation will be sent including a batch of invitations.
Each package is for 20 children. The 'Major' package is £395 for 20 children, plus £17 for any extra heads. The 'General' package is £495 for 20 children, plus £22 for any extra heads.
The Lunch Room can comfortably hold 20 children and about five adults.
Tables in the Café area, closely situated to the Lunch Room, can also be reserved for any extra adults that may attend the birthday party.
Alternatively, there is the option to upgrade to a larger room (the Lecture Theatre), which holds 35 children and 30 adults. The cost to upgrade is £100 (+ VAT). You can find out more about room upgrades on our Optional Extras page.
Children should be between 0 and 8 years old. Children over 8 years old are not allowed to use the Kids' Zone.
Any child who is over 8 years old can still enter the Kids' Zone and interact with the younger children. However, they would not be allowed to use the climbing frames.
If you choose the 'Major' package, the food will be: a selection of sandwiches; cocktail sausages; cucumber and carrot sticks; crisps; mini chocolate chip cookies; ice cream and fruit juice.
If you choose the 'General' package, your menu will be: baked potatoes wedges; cornflake-crusted chicken strips; a selection of sandwiches; cucumber and carrot sticks; crisps; fruit jelly and ice cream; mini chocolate chip cookies and fruit juice.
Food will be served in the second hour after the children have moved on from the Kids' Zone.
The caterers can provide for any special dietary requirements. Otherwise the party menu remains fixed.
Parents can provide extra food if they wish.
No, it doesn't. Catering included in the party package is for children only. There is the option of ordering additional refreshments for adults.

Party bags consist of a cool camouflage drawstring kit bag containing camouflage stationery such as a notepad, pen, pencil and eraser. The 'General' package includes an additonal souvenir from the Museum Shop.

Twizzle, the Museum's preferred children's entertainer, is not included in the party package price. You are welcome to arrange your own entertainment for the party.
