Tickets for all day sessions tend to sell out before 11.00am during school holidays. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you arrive early.
We sincerely apologise for any disappointment if you are unable to book the Kids’ Zone session of your choice.
There are various Action Zones in a number of the Museum’s galleries that are designed especially for children. Our interactive Action Zones bring history to life, providing a hands-on learning experience for younger visitors. Please ask our staff for details.
£2.50 for children aged 6 months to 8 years. Free for children under 6 months. Children aged 9 or over cannot use the Kids’ Zone play facilities, but are admitted free to the Kids’ Zone room.

Tickets for each hour-long session are subject to availability and are sold online and remainders are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from the Museum’s Welcome Desk. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
There are six hour-long sessions per day, starting at the following times: 10.10am, 11.20am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm, 3.00pm & 4.15pm.
Occasionally, the Kids’ Zone is closed for essential maintenance, education groups or for private birthday parties - please check the Kids' Zone homepage for details of upcoming closures.
Yes, tickets are available up to three days in advance online and remainders are available on the day from the Welcome Desk.

There is no limit on adults, as long as the total Kids’ Zone capacity is not exceeded.
