Last updated: 16 September 2016

Our new online resources are designed to support classroom and home-based teaching and learning about the British Army.

Take a look at our latest resources here.

Take a View on the Army

Suitable for secondary schools, these engaging and topical Citizenship-based learning resources help develop critical thinking about the role of the British Army and the impact it has on society, both in Britain and the wider world.

From a neutral and balanced standpoint, Take a View on the Army provides engaging film content and debate ideas to help students form and deconstruct their own opinions and those of others.

First World War in Focus

Developed to mark the centenary of the First World War, the First World War In Focus website features learning resources for both teachers and students of primary and secondary.

The site also includes downloadable material from the Museum’s rich archives focusing on individual stories of servicemen and women from around the world; a series of short, dynamic videos; a handy timeline and mapping tools; and easy access to NAM’s remarkable online collection.
