Have you an item of militaria that you would like identified, such as - a badge, piece of uniform or document? Do you need advice on researching your military forebears? Would you like to know more about the uniform worn by an ancestor in a painting or photograph?
If the answer to any of these questions is 'Yes', you may wish to come along to one of our regular Identification and Advice sessions where experts drawn from our curatorial team will be on hand to help you.
There is no charge for this service (although donations are welcome) and no appointment is necessary. Just come along to the Museum between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the following dates in 2013:
Please note: While we will attempt to identify your property, we are unable to give valuations. These may be obtained from a dealer or auctioneer.
