Templer Study Centre Rules

- Admission is by Reader’s Ticket only, which lasts for three years. Tickets are not transferable and must be produced on demand. To obtain a ticket please bring with you some form(s) of identification showing your name, current address and photograph:
- Current full UK driving licence
- Current signed passport
- National identification card
- Recent utilities bill
- Recent bank or credit card statement
- Bus Pass
- University card
- All bags and briefcases must be left at the Museum Reception Desk.
- Readers must respect the rights of other readers by treating the Centre as a quiet study area.
- No food, eating or drinking (including bottled water) is permitted in the Templer Study Centre.
- Notes must be taken in pencil only; no pens are permitted.
- Readers must not lean on, trace from, annotate or otherwise alter any item from the Collection.
- Items from the Collection are not to be removed from the Study Centre under any circumstances.
- No photography (including digital) is permitted in the Study Centre. Enquiries about our Picture Library services can be made to the staff on duty.
- Photocopying will only be undertaken if permitted by Copyright Law, and the Study Centre rules on photocopying.
- Permission for publication of material may be granted on written application only.
- The privilege of admission may at any time be withdrawn by the Director or his representative.
