In this engaging talk Professor Sheffield will discuss an eclectic list of objects, using them to examine some unfamiliar facts about the First World War and offering a fresh perspective on this world-changing historic event.

Dinner & Talk tickets:

The Army & Navy Club offer a two-course dinner in their Coffee Room fine dining restaurant before each talk. Combined 'Dinner & Talk' bookings can only be made by calling 020 7881 6600.

Please note that formal attire is required when dining - a collar, tie and jacket for gentlemen and a tailored suit or dress and jacket for ladies.

Celebrity Speakers are subject to change: customers are advised to check the website closer to the date. The dress code for the Army & Navy Club is smart casual. Ripped jeans, sportswear and flip-flops are not permitted and entry will be refused with no refund.
