The Base Café offers freshly made tea and coffee, seasonal food and snacks for all the family. The daily offer includes a range of sandwiches and salads freshly made on site every morning and a mouth-watering selection of cream teas, cakes and cookies. The kids will be happy too with their pick-your-own lunch boxes and mini meals.
Friends of the National Army Museum receive a 10 per cent discount. Large parties can reserve seating space and arrange refreshments in advance by contacting the Café on 020 7881 6608 or cafe@nam.ac.uk
Visiting regularly? Don't forget to pick up a Base Café Loyalty Card and enjoy your 10th drink free! This is available to all visitors and still allows discounts to be taken. Ask Café staff for more information.

The Museum Shop offers a wide range of family learning activities and games, toys, clothes and souvenirs as well as boasting a comprehensive range of books on a broad array of military topics. Goods can be ordered by telephone (020 7881 6600), mail order or online.
British Armed Forces and Friends of the National Army Museum receive a 10 per cent discount.

A range of facsimile reprints from the Museum’s Printed Books Collection are now also available online through our Book Shop.

A range of free, tailored presentations, object handling sessions and interactive workshops are available for primary, secondary and college students (minimum of 20) as well as independent groups. Our specialist study centre boasts a variety of research and study tools to enable you to explore our Collection further. Open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as the first and third Saturday of every month, entry is free. To use the centre visitors must register for a Reader’s Ticket and should bring two forms of identification with them. Please see the Templer Study Centre page for further details.
