Insight gallery demonstrates the huge impact the British Army has had on the world.

To help tell the story of the British Army's global reach, the gallery is divided into five themes of legacy, resource, empire, alliance and home. Every continent contains places to which the Army has previously been deployed, and in which Britain - even today - retains a strategic interest.

Casts of figures from the Beamish trophy

Engage with global perspectives on Britain, the Army and the objects within the National Army Museum’s collections.

Much like the Army's global role, Insight gallery changes regularly. Currently, it explores stories from Germany, Scotland, the Punjab, Ghana and Sudan.
