Are you passionate about video content and social media, and excited to share new stories with audiences? We are seeking to appoint a Digital Communications Officer to create high-quality and engaging content for a range of digital platforms and social media channels.

The successful candidate will use their expertise and creativity to ensure campaigns and projects are shared with audiences, both new and existing, and will support the Audiences and Engagement team by gathering data insights to inform and drive the Museum’s digital engagement.

Experience of short-form video and photography capture, writing engaging copy and monitoring social media platforms is essential.

About our staff

The National Army Museum employs staff in all of the specialist areas relating to our collections, including Archives and Library, Curatorial and Research, Collections Care, Exhibitions, Learning and Public Programmes.

In addition, we have staff providing other services, including Commercial and Visitor Experience, Technical Services, Development Fundraising, Facilities, Finance and Administration, Human Resources, and Audiences and Communications.

The Museum employs around 100 members of staff in both full- and part-time positions, who are located either at the museum building in Chelsea or at our purpose-built storage and conservation facility in Stevenage. A team of volunteers supports our work.
