- Session 1: 10.00am–11.00am
- Session 2: 11.30am–12.30pm
- Session 3: 1.00pm–2.00pm
- Session 4: 2.30pm–3.30pm
- Session 5: 4.00pm–5.00pm
Terms and conditions
Tickets are available online and in-venue. A £1.00 booking fee applies per online transaction. There is no booking fee for in-venue tickets.
Due to capacity restrictions, and to ensure that everyone can enjoy their Play Base experience, we unfortunately can only allow one adult with one child. Two adults are allowed to enter with two to four children. A maximum of four children’s tickets are available per customer, per session.
Please email commercial@nam.ac.uk if you require an extra adult due to specialised support needs.

Exclusive Play Base hire
Enjoy private hire of Play Base, perfect for play dates or end of term parties.
- Availability: Tuesday–Friday (term time only), subject to availability
- Suitable for: Children aged 0–8 years
- Capacity: Up to 30 children

Assault course
Physical challenge is a key aspect of soldiering. Overcoming obstacles requires both individual fitness and teamwork. Come and have a go on our soft play assault course if you think you’ve got what it takes!
Command liaison vehicle
The Army teaches soldiers to lead as well as to follow. Climb aboard our command liaison vehicle to explore themes of communications and mobility, driving and mechanical repair.
Cookhouse
An army marches on its stomach. Make sure the troops are full of beans in our Camp Kitchen and Mess Hall.
Quartermaster store
Where do soldiers get kitted out? How do they buy provisions and receive messages from home? Get to grips with all these questions at our army storeroom.
In the field
Soldiers need to be able to look after themselves wherever they are. Develop your fieldcraft skills - building camps, dens and shelters - to survive the wild.
