The National Army Museum is undertaking a major redevelopment project called 'Building for the Future'. This will see the radical redevelopment of the Chelsea building which will require it to close on 30 April 2014. A number of services will also be suspended in preparation for the project.
To begin this transformation the Museum is required to undertake a series of preparatory works on the building and the Collection, which will require us to close to the public from 30 April 2014.
In late 2016 we will launch our transformed museum with a brand new state-of-the-art Kids’ Zone offer, alongside innovative exhibitions and a new cafe.
For further details about the project, please check the 'Building for the Future' website.
