Gift Aid declaration form

If you have already purchased a Patron membership and would like to Gift Aid the eligible portion of your payment, please complete our Gift Aid form.

Gift Aid and your benefits

If you are a UK taxpayer, the Museum can make your gift go even further through the Gift Aid scheme.

Gift Aid allows us to claim basic rate tax relief on your donation. If you are a higher-rate tax payer, you can also benefit by claiming higher-rate tax relief on your donation in your self-assessment tax return.

In order to claim Gift Aid on your donation, we are required to make explicit the commercial value of any benefits we offer to Patrons. Any amount given above the agreed value of these benefits is considered a voluntary donation and is eligible for Gift Aid.

According to HMRC guidelines, you may purchase these benefits without making any further donation.

Patron membership payment breakdown

The National Army Museum's Individual Patron Membership (£1,000) includes a benefit payment of £250 and a suggested donation of £750.

The Patron-plus-Guest Membership (£1,600) includes a benefit payment of £450 and a suggested donation of £1,150.

The suggested donation is a voluntary contribution, to which Gift Aid provisions apply. All voluntary donations support the Museum. However, you may wish to secure your benefits without making a voluntary donation.
