This special event marks the launch of the National Army Museum’s new research institute. Bringing together academics, museum professionals, and early-career scholars, the NAM Institute will conduct, champion, and communicate outstanding research into the British Army and the forces of the former British Empire.
Professor Sir Hew Strachan will deliver an introductory address to begin the evening. A discussion on military history in Britain will follow with a panel of historians, chaired by Dr Jonathan Boff, including James Holland, Dr Nicole Hartwell, Dr Saawani Raje and the National Army Museum’s Dr Glyn Prysor.
The event is part of the Chelsea History Festival. You can view the full programme here.
