Chelsea in Bloom is an annual floral art show that transforms the streets of Chelsea with breathtaking displays made of fresh flowers. Throughout the week, you'll be able to admire our very own floral sculpture displayed in front of the Museum entrance.
Inspired by this year's theme - ‘Flowers on Film' - the installation takes the shape of the eponymous Sherman tank from the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Fury' (2014). These iconic tanks also played a leading role in the British Army's final push across North-West Europe at the end of the Second World War.
The living moss and plant display is made of British produce and installed on a fully sustainable wooden frame. At the end of the week, all salvageable plants will be donated to Floral Angels, with the frame and the rest of the foliage sent to compost by our florist partner, Pinstripes & Peonies.
