Chelsea History Festival 2025

Join award-winning speakers, acclaimed performers and expert guides for a celebration of history in the heart of Chelsea this September.
The Chelsea History Festival returns to Royal Hospital Road for its seventh year. With over 80 events including talks, debates, walking tours, concerts and workshops, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Sponsored by Cadogan, this annual celebration of history and heritage will again be bringing top authors and family fun to three spectacular venues – the National Army Museum, Chelsea Physic Garden and the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
This year’s headliners include Greg Jenner, Emily Matilis, Simon Jenkins, Jonathan Healey, Damien Lewis, Saul David, General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, Mark Urban, Paula Akpan, Anna Whitelock, Mónica Feria Tinta, Otto English, Bendor Grosvenor, Hanna Diamond, Ash Bhardwaj, Nicola Tallis, Victoria Taylor and Dermot Turing.

About the Chelsea History Festival
The Chelsea History Festival is an annual event that aims to entertain, educate and inspire through local, national and global history.
Founded in 2019, the festival is delivered by the Chelsea Heritage Quarter, a collaboration between the National Army Museum, Chelsea Physic Garden, the Royal Hospital Chelsea and Cadogan.
