Chelsea History Festival 2026
Join award-winning speakers, acclaimed performers and expert guides for a celebration of history and heritage in the heart of Chelsea.
The Chelsea History Festival returns for its eighth year, with BBC World Affairs Editor John Simpson as guest curator.
Sponsored by Cadogan, this annual event brings the past to life through an immersive programme of talks, performances, concerts, walking tours, exhibitions and family activities.
Alongside Chelsea Physic Garden, the National Army Museum and Royal Hospital Chelsea, this year's festival will also feature events at Chelsea Old Church, Chelsea Theatre, Royal Court Theatre and Garrison Chapel.
Headliners include Andrew Roberts, Monty Halls, Anna Whitelock, Jonathan Fennell, Matthew Worley and Katie Wignall.

The Chelsea History Festival is an annual event that aims to entertain, educate and inspire through local, national and global history.
Founded in 2019, the festival is delivered by the Chelsea Heritage Quarter, a collaboration between the National Army Museum, Chelsea Physic Garden, the Royal Hospital Chelsea and Cadogan.
