Soldiers from the Indian subcontinent have played an important role in Britain's armies, both locally and across the globe.

In this sensory session, gain an insight into their long history of service, with a special focus on the First World War, through a combination of vivid descriptions and tactile experiences that bring to life stories from the Museum’s collections.

This is an opportunity to explore objects from the Museum’s collection primarily through touch and description. We welcome visitors who would particularly benefit from this approach, such as those who are blind, partially sighted or who have complex support needs.

Generously supported by Lord Ashcroft KCMG PC
