Indian Army Memorial Room at Sandhurst Tour

Coronavirus update

The National Army Museum will be closed to the public from 18 March until further notice following the latest government guidance in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Indian Army Memorial Room at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, 2019
Dr Anthony Morton, Curator of the Sandhurst Trust, will lead a private tour of this iconic training academy, including the recently refurbished Indian Army Memorial Room.

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is where British Army officers are trained to lead soldiers.

This guided tour will take in the Indian Army Memorial Room, the Academy Chapel and the seven Prestige Rooms of Old College. As you visit each room, Dr Anthony Morton will talk about the objects and the art on display, revealing the history of the institution.

The Indian Army Memorial Room was reinvigorated last September with over 100 rarely seen objects from the National Army Museum’s collection.

Tickets include tea and scones or light refreshments. However, they do not include transportation to Sandhurst.

This private guided tour is a members-only event.
