Learning to be resilient can make a big difference to people who struggle with anxiety and low self-esteem. As this fascinating session demonstrates, one of the most effective ways to encourage resilience is by sharing the inspirational stories of people who have overcome difficulties.

Injured veterans, like Si Harmer and Darren Swift, have been using their stories of overcoming adversity to inspire secondary school students, helping them cope with difficulties in their own lives – such as exam stress, social media pressures and family challenges.

Join them as they discuss ways to encourage empathy, openness and honesty about the difficulties young people face, and how anyone can learn practical coping strategies.

The Making Generation R campaign is delivered by The Drive Project in association with Blesma, the charity for limbless veterans.
