In 2022, the UK launched Operation Interflex, a military training programme to support Ukraine’s armed forces. The operation brings Ukrainian personnel to the UK, where they receive training in a range of skills with support from partner nations across the globe. This includes operating missile systems, delivering battlefield first aid, conducting tactical drills and developing leadership skills.
Through a unique selection of intimate sketches, this free exhibition offers a rare glimpse of everyday life for soldiers serving far from home during the First World War.
