The Poppy Factory: Members Tour

Join us for an exclusive members-only tour of The Poppy Factory in Richmond as it marks its centenary.

The Poppy Factory is a national charity that supports veterans with health conditions on their journey into all kinds of employment. Established in the aftermath of the First World War, it developed into a community of wounded and injured veterans and their families. 

Our visit will begin at 12.30pm and last 90 minutes. This will include a 30-minute presentation and an hour of self-guided time. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the exhibition, have a go at wreath and poppy-making and enjoy a delicious tea break, which is included in the price of the ticket. 

No transport will be provided. Members will have to make their own way to the location. 

The Poppy Factory is a 15-minute walk from Richmond train station. You can also catch the 65 bus from Richmond station to the Compass Hill stop, which is outside the Factory’s visitor centre.
