Kelsey Loveless, from the National Army Museum, explores LGBTQ stories in the history of the British Army.
This tour will narrate three individual LGBTQ stories of soldiers in the British Army and will further explore these stories in the context of the wider British legislation and public perspective. Please note that the tour lasts 30 minutes.
The modern British Army declares itself an equal opportunities employer. But becoming so has presented challenges for an institution deeply rooted in hierarchy, routine, regiment and tradition.
