Westminster at War

This gentle march will take in the military sites of Westminster, exploring how the city of London has fought and defended itself.

Anne-Marie Craven, our Blue Badge Guide with an interest in military history, will explore how the heart of royal and political Westminster has been subjected to attack, from the Gunpowder Plot to air raids in both World Wars.

Buildings, monuments and sculptures will help tell the story of how we defended ourselves, how we fought back, and the personalities involved, as well as revealing something about the artists themselves.
