The Society of Friends of the National Army Museum is run for and by people who choose to demonstrate their support for the purpose and work of the National Army Museum.
This is one of the most ambitious years in the National Army Museum’s history and our Friends are instrumental in helping us make it a success.
With their support we hope to expand our exhibitions, capture the interests and imaginations of new and existing visitors, and embark on the Museum’s development project; allowing us to bring the history of the British Army to more people.
Janice Murray, director of the National Army Museum
Our Friends are vital to the Museum's continued success. Their enthusiasm, dedication and generosity have been invaluable, enabling the Museum to keep the history of the British Army ever relevant. With their help the Museum has been able to conserve and expand the Collection, to ensure the legacy of the British Army is continuing for more people to enjoy, explore and learn from.
Friends act as the Museum's greatest ambassadors to the rest of the world. They work tirelessly to endorse and give voice to the work we do, and are key in helping us to raise much-needed funds and generate more support. It is this support that will be invaluable to us as we move forward with our ambitious development plan.
There has never been a more exciting time to be involved with the National Army Museum as a Friend. The Museum is embarking upon an ambitious development programme, which will see its galleries transformed over the next few years. We need your help to increase awareness and appreciation of the National Army Museum and help us raise vital funds to help preserve and develop the Museum's Collection
With your support the Friends will help the National Army Museum care for the heritage of the British Army.
Friends pay an annual or a life membership subscription, listed below. Many members choose to pay more than the minimum subscription, which enables the Museum to expand and care for more vital Collection items.
