Join us for an exclusive preview of our Army at Home gallery ahead of its opening to the general public. This will mark the culmination of a two-year project to refresh the Museum's permanent displays.
The gallery explores the Army's home service from the 1600s to the present day. Starting with the Civil Wars, it goes on to reveal how soldiers have shaped and defended the United Kingdom, as well as highlighting their role in creating and maintaining a British identity. It also outlines the support they provide to civil authorities. Museum staff will be on hand to answer your questions.
