An Evening with Historian and Author Andrew Roberts To Celebrate His Latest Book

'George III: The Life and Reign of Britain’s Most Misunderstood Monarch' book cover
Telegraph subscribers and National Army Museum members are invited to join Andrew Roberts as he discusses ‘George III: The Life and Reign of Britain’s Most Misunderstood Monarch’.

Professor Andrew Roberts believes that King George III is the most misunderstood monarch in British history. George has been reviled as the king who suffered from porphyria, lost the American colonies and was denounced as a ‘tyrant’ by Thomas Jefferson, a ‘brute’ by Thomas Paine, and a camp yet sinister figure in Hamilton: The Musical. Professor Andrew Roberts, a Trustee of the National Army Museum, will refute these allegations.
