This International Women’s Day, hear from a panel of experts as they highlight how women in technology, science and engineering are integral to future warfare.
From electronic warfare and battlespace technology to saving lives on the battlefield, women serving in the British Army are at the forefront of innovative and technological advancements which are vital to the success of the military.
Hosted by journalist and broadcaster Sangita Myska, a panel of women currently serving in the Army will share their experiences of how science, technology, innovation and engineering are shaping how we understand and prepare for war, while also opening up extraordinary careers for women.
Our three panel members, all from the Royal Signals, epitomise the range of high-level innovation and technology that exists in the British Army, from practical on-the-ground experiences to the development of knowledge through educational opportunities.
To complement the topics discussed, we will be drawing on our unique Museum archives to show images relating to women working in technology and engineering in the Army.
