Berlin Beat

Child playing on a drum
Explore the Berlin Military Tattoo and construct your own instrument inspired by the drums in our collection.

Music has always been a part of Army life, not least at the spectacular Berlin Military Tattoo. This major annual event was run by the British forces in Germany until the end of the 20th century, and continues to be held by the German military today.

March to the beat of your own drum in this craft workshop for children and families.

Session times:

  • 10.30am to 12.00pm
  • 2.00pm to 3.30pm

Part of our summer series of family fun supporting the ‘Foe to Friend’ exhibition.
