Codebreaker Challenge

Children attending an activity workshop
Can you crack the code, save the secrets and stop the Cold War from getting hot?

Soldiers, we need your help! The General has gone missing and no-one knows the combination to unlock his safe. Inside are important documents regarding the current threat from the Soviets, along with our defensive plans. If we don’t get these to Headquarters soon, who knows what might happen!

Can you follow the clues and crack the code? Explore our ‘Foe to Friend’ exhibition with our Codebreaker Challenge.

Collect an envelope of clues from the officer on duty, construct your cipher wheel and solve puzzles in this interactive family activity. Envelopes will be available to collect from 10.30am to 11.00am.

Part of our summer series of family fun supporting the ‘Foe to Friend’ exhibition.
