During Queen Victoria’s reign, military art had an enormous impact on the British public. Demand for news from across the globe created a new trade in war correspondence, with reports sent directly from the battlefield.

In this guided-looking session, join a member of the Museum's Community Team as they focus on three key paintings on display in Myth and Reality: Military Art in the Age of Queen Victoria.

The tour will invite attendees to experience the artworks mindfully, lingering with each piece and reflecting on any emotions that arise.
