Sponsored by the Museum of Military Medicine, the British Army’s 2018 poetry writing competition focuses on ‘Writing Armistice’.
2018 marks the centenary of the Armistice. In this year of national commemoration, the Army invited poets to respond to this event, encouraging them to visit museums nationwide for inspiration.
The prize-giving ceremony is open to the public with seats available on a first come first served basis. Doors will open at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
