Brothers in Arms exhibition tour with James Holland

Join James Holland for a virtual tour of the Brothers in Arms exhibition, which explored the service of the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry in North-West Europe during the Second World War.

The Sherwood Rangers finished the Second World War with more battle honours than any other single unit in the British Army. Veterans of the North Africa campaign, they were at the forefront of the fighting from D-Day on 6 June 1944 until Victory in Europe (VE) Day in May 1945.

Discover their story in this special tour with historian and author James Holland, who also curated the exhibition.

James provides insights into what it was like to serve in a tank in the heat of battle. He also investigates some of the personal artefacts on display and reflects on the astonishing collective spirit, camaraderie and bravery demonstrated by the remarkable men of the Sherwood Rangers.
