Two soldier poets lead this family-friendly poetry writing workshop on the theme of Armistice.
In response to the British Army’s 2018 poetry writing competition, ‘Writing Armistice’, this family-friendly workshop will take inspiration from First World War poets, as well as objects in the Museum.
Our two soldier poets will guide you through writing your own piece of poetry to take away.
Sessions take place at 11am to 11.40am, and 12pm to 12.40pm.
The First World War was the first truly global conflict. From 1914 to 1918, fighting took place across several continents, at sea and, for the first time, in the air.
